Super simple, this is how it works:

1. The light switches on automatically in the dark when movement is detected (up to 3 metres away) and then switches off again after 15 seconds automatically.
2. You can also switch it on or off manually with a single press of a button.
3. Stick the magnetic base wherever you want, click the light onto it and remove it just as easily.
4. Use it wirelessly as a torch or clip it on as a wall light.
5. USB rechargeable: easily recharge using the included cable.
6. When you plug it into the charger, a red light will come on. When it goes out, it is fully charged. 
7. Sometimes the light needs to be charged first because it is empty before it works.
